Ain't that the truth.Looks like Tarvers gonna be fighting Woods so I think Lacy will be taking that tune up or two.

i can't help but like jeff lacy, yeah calzaghe beat the **** out of him but he went 12 rounds and took it like a man. he didn't look great against manfredo but its his first fight in over a year after a severe shoulder injury. i think that once he has a few tune ups and gets his confidence back he could maybe be a threat again

Yeah he's a good kid and it really annoys me when people try to call him a bum. He was a very good fighter before the Calzaghe fight and before he tore his rotator. He can still come back.

Also something interesting I found, I was searching through past posts (around 2005-2006) and I found a topic of "Favourite fighters in each division", funnily enough over 90% of the people picked Lacy for the SMW divison.

          Loyalty? No thanks!

After reading the last interviews with him, at least Lacy realizes he needs some work before he is ready for top competition again. He was smart enough to get that message from the Manfredo performance.
