The WBA is a joke. If I were in Yuriy's camp I'd be protesting the timeline. Why would an organization give a fighter a year to fight his mandatory? When was the last time this was done? Why even announce it to begin with?

If you're going to tell a fighter he has to fight his mandatory, tell him he has 3 months, not 12! What if Yuriy loses a fight? What if Cotto loses a fight? The reason this is done is because Cotto is a draw and they know they can make more money with him as champ and raping him with sanctioning fees than if Yuriy were to win the belt. Damn corrupt bastards!

Who the hell is Yuriy Nuzhnenko? With guys like Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, and even Judah in this division, this is the guy the WBA has as number 1 contender?
