    Arce Injured!!

Two-time world champion Jorge "Travieso" Arce (48-4-1, 37 KOs) injured his right shoulder today during sparring in Puebla, Mexico, and as a result cannot participate on the big February 9 "Latin Fury" pay-per-view card in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico. "I very much regret this untimely accident, I feel very sad and frustrated," said Arce. "After I threw a strong right, I felt intense pain. It was unbearable so my team stopped the action and I went immediately to have it checked and was diagnosed my injury." Arce suffered a three-inch tear in his shoulder that will require rest and therapy. He was scheduled to face Jonathan Perez on the card that features Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs Jose Celaya.

I was not going to order this, but i was not looking forward to this fight, it was going to be a mismatch and I am glad its not happening, unfortunately it was canceled on bad circumstances. Honestly I dont think Arce would beat any of the top guys, Def not Mijares, nor would he beat Montiel, or Castillo

I don't know I don't mind seeing that ass again. LOL. It sucks for that PPV that Arce isn't fighting, but it did seem like a mismatch so it was probably for the best. Hopefully Arce's injury isn't too bad those shoulder injuries for boxers definitely can effect them.

          anyways, this just in

With Jorge Arce's injury putting him off the big February 9th "Latin Fury" pay-per-view show, Top Rank has added the WBC light flyweight championship clash between world champion Edgar Sosa (30-5-1, 16 KOs) and Jesus Iribe (10-4-1, 6 KOs) to the telecast. The rest of the TV lineup remains intact with super welterweight star Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (34-0-1, 27 KOs) facing Jose Celaya (31-3, 16 KOs), middleweight Jose Luis Zertuche (19-4-2, 14 KOs) against Marco Antonio Rubio (38-4-1, 34 KOs) and hot bantamweight Bernabe Concepcion (23-1-1, 13 KOs) vs Juan Ruiz (21-4, 6 KOs).

thats better, A world title fight added to the card. I like Sosa, looks like a mismatch though.

I would have like to see him fight, Arce always fun to watch and its great for a boxer to be active no matter what the leading trend it at the time(top boxers only fighting 1 or 2 times a year.
