Agreed. Hatton didn't make any mistakes... he fought the fight he needed to fight to have a chance at winning. He didn't win though. He wasn't going to out box Floyd, he knew that. Give him respect for coming to fight and risk getting knocked out and let's move on.

Calzaghe doesn't have nearly as uphill a battle as Hatton did, distractions certainly didn't cost him the fight.. agreed

I Think calzaghe will win this fight quite easily to some belief. But I dont think hatton made a mistake. He simply couldnt beat the best in the world, no shame in that. I hope after Calzaghe wins, he stays and fights 1 or more fights in the US as well.

I'd like to see him convince the Taylor/Pavlik winner to come over to the Millennium Stadium to fight. Purely for selfish reasons, so I can attend the bout. I think the fight after Hopkins will be Joe's last.
