Not even a bit. I think most of the real boxing fans would rather see him fight someone prime. Not give old Roy yet another shot at a payday.

Do you think after the Taylor/Pavlik fight, both fighters will tell us what they are doing next? Who do you think either will fight?

I mean calz will be fighting at lhw and i dont think pavlik or taylor are willing to fight at that weight, so is calz going back to smw after the hopkins fight?
Calzaghe is keeping his belts at SMW and will fight the Pavlik/Taylor winner there.

We'll have to wait and see, but I believe Joe holding on to his belts at SWW is a 'carrot' for the winner of Pavlik Taylor. I know there will be pressure for a third rubber between the guys, especially if Taylor wins, but that can be postponed because Joe won't be around the game for long, whereas we've got time for Pavlik Taylor '5' before the other two retire.

If Chad beats Glen, that could be one if Pavlik /Taylor falls through. Chad has said he can move down if need be and Joe has said he wants someone in their prime. I think RJJ would be his farewell fight, we it could be good for both of them to bow out together and, if marketed properly, could make both of them a mint.

              A presto

If joe beats Hopkins and any 1 from Dawson/pavlik/taylor convincingly and Floyd just fights de la hoya he has to be p4p #1 in my opinion.

Joke should be ashamed of himself if he loses to the washed up Hopkins. It would be as bad as Michael Moorer losing to George Foreman.

Which of Hopkins' previous performances have led you to believe he is washed up? His wins over Winky Wright and Tarver or the two fights against Jermain Taylor that a lot of people think he won?

Not really. Calzaghe has had a hard time getting to 168 for years, but he always makes it. To make 175 will be easy for Joe since he wont have to sweat of the last 7 pounds like usual, so he should be even stronger and have better stamina against Hopkins.
