It tells me that those lists aren't accurate.

If you seriously think Hopkins is good enough to be anywhere near a P4P at this point in his career, you're going to get a reality check on April 19th. I'm no Calzaghe fan, but I expect him to win at least 10 rounds. He's no blown up jr. middle light Winky. Wright looked awful carrying 170 lbs.

Roy Jones would be a much tougher fight than Hopkins right now.

No matter how good Hopkins WAS he is 43 and cannot keep up with Calzaghe's pace

If Joe was fighting Jones, you'd say "Hopkins would be a much tougher fight"

Agreed, and I bet that fight comes together if Calzaghe beats Hopkins which I hope and think will happen. That'll be much more entertaining to watch.

After seeing Jones look very good against Trinidad, I have to say he's the better fighter and he always has been. The only knock on Jones is his chin, and Calzaghe doesn't have the power to knock him out.

Virtual unknown (compared to what he is today.)

10 years ago, Hopins had barely won a VACANT title against a journeyman (who had knocked him down twice in their previous fight.) He had then held this title for less than 3 years, hadn't tried to unify, and hadn't faced any other big names.

Less known and less accomplishments than Margarito had last year prior to his loss to Williams.

Well 6 months ago Hopkins WAS good enough to beat a top p4p guy in Winky Wright. Hopkins makes other people fight at his pace.

They agreed terms to meet in 2001. Hopkins ducked. Lets hope they got him to sign the contract this time.

It's a shame this isn't in MSG. I'd have crossed the Atlantic for that.

What fight did you see of Hopkins where stamina was a problem because I haven't seen it
