the plan is to protect floy from COTTO

Si, this is what the powers that be are trying to do. protect floy once again from his #1 threat MIGUEL COTTO. they know how to duck and dodge, they are great pros at it. they eluded TSZYU, CASAMAYOR, HARRIS, MARGARITO and now they are in full flee of MIGUEL COTTO.

they are trying to knock off COTTO by forcing him to fight PAUL WILLIAMS, this would save floy and give him his perfect alibi to duck forever, he lost to WILLIAMS i dont need to fight him now.

MIGUEL COTTO wants to thrash lil floy and knows the lil one is running away from him, first he ran to my body is breaking down, then im bored with boxing, then to MMA, then to two year hiatus, then to retirement, now he's running to oscar.

MIGUEL COTTO and all fans know floy is fleeing, desperately fleeing from being humilaited physically. the protectors are desperately trying to protect floy, trying to nonsensically call for the COTTO-WILLIAMS fight. and savaging COTTO for picking Gomez. But their smokescreens won't work if MIGUEL COTTO stays patient keeps his 0 and again calls out floy after the boring oscar rematch.

if floy retires again after oscar because COTTO is still unbeaten, it's case closed lil floy is a coward. HBO and floy's advisor have to man up and make this fight happen. if they dont they are cheating boxing and history out of the most exciting most anticipated welterwegiht unification since Leonard-Hearns.

If he chooses to fight DLH and then retires, as you say, then the doubters will have a field day. I'd love to see a PBF Cotto showdown, not sure it'll happen though.

Floyd....where in the world are you hiding?

Cotto will never find him in his new disguise.

Come on man, you can't be serious. You really think Cotto has a chance against Floyd?? I don't even think the fight would be close.

I'm not taking any credit away from Cotto but let's look at the facts; Cotto has not looked good against top opposition. He beat Judah but took alot of straight right hands doing it and Judah is one and done.

He beat Mosley, after Mosely stood toe2toe with Cotto, something Cotto dreamed would happen and still couldn't win deciisively.

Chop Chop gave Cotto all he could handle and some say was cheated from a possibly good fight after it being stopped too quickly.

Cotto is a very good fighter don't get me wrong but in reality he's no where in the league that Floyd is or even DLH for that matter. I say that because I think that DLH even at he age of 34 is one of the best pure boxers left in the sport and I think would give anyone a tough time even at his age right now.

Cotto will have to beat PBF, Margarito, maybe even DLH to be considered the best of his time and those are some tough names to beat.

Margarito a big name ? The one who lost to santos...twice? And lost to Paul williams? Oh and that he has only beaten one recognizable name in Cintron, but cintron sucks.

No. The plan is to make money. It's not about history. It's not about greatness. It's not about the "0." It's about money.

I think he'll fight Cotto at some point, I think it is even more likely to happen if Cotto looks mediocre or levels off in his next bouts. Similar to how I think Hatton is a little more interested in fighting Mallinaggi now that he has shown some major weakness.

OK, lets school you a bit. First off, Margarito didn't lose to Santos twice, the first time they fought it was a no contest due to a headbutt and cut. The second time they fought, it was again a stoppage due to headbutts with both fighters cut and Margarito lost in a controversial split decision. Both fights were in PR and people doubted the decision.

Like it or not Margarito still has his name in the hat and he's a formidable fighter who is very dangerous. win or lose a fight with Cotto would be very exciting.

Cotto is a rapdily improving fighter and he is a beast at 147. He has shown new facettes to his arsenal vs. Mosley. most dangerous of all is his win or die mentality, he will do anything to win and make the Puerto Rican supporters proud of their flag of which he fights for the honor of.

gayweather knows this. gayweather is a spoiled lil brat who has been spoilted to handpcik all his opponents. he dont' want to mess with a cat like COTTO. He wants to play around with a mouse like a crossdresser or 35 yr old stiff with nine losses or a very good colorful popular junior welter who was ORDINARY at 147.

on paper and skills wise floy looks superior. but paper never tells the entire story. the greatest ducker in boxing history is ducking COTTO for a damn good reason, he knows he doesn't have the courage, will, true not transparent confidence of MIGUEL COTTO.

though floy's fear is cloaked under many layers of phony confidence and excuses, I KNOW FOR A FACT he FEARS MIGUEL COTTO and LOSING BY KO TO MIGUEL COTTO
