alright, this is for the Thread Starter...and EVERYBODY obsessed that Trinidad has illegal hand wrapping....
1) Trinidad was "NEVER" fined, suspended or disqualified...."EVER"!
2) Papa Trinidad uses more "TAPE" than gauge....the legal, authorized amount
3) Hopkins "ADMITTED" it was all his tactic to throw off Trinidad.
4) Trinidad exposes his wraps after "EVERY" bout, for one and all to see!
Tito lost to dudes bigger than he. That boy will be a first round Ballot into The International Boxing Hall of Fame! You don't have to be a fan, but no one will ever question Trindad's heart to fight dudes better than him.
If only other so called "pound-per-pound" fighter's would take on dudes that they know is high risk.

Antonio Margarito......5'11''...Welter Weight (over 10 years!)
Paul Williams.....6'1''.....Welter Weight
Kermit Cintron......5'11'.....Welter Weight
The shortest of the bunch.....Miguel Cotto, 5'7''! Even Andre Berto is taller than Cotto! So is Luis Collazo.
Bottom line...that is a typical height for a 147 Welter Weight.

First off Ive read Bouie Fisher as quoted saying he went into the dressing room and he made them rewrap in which Tito's camp said they had been wrapping like that forever, which was an illegal wrap, have read this online, this isnt a secret. If they were never wrapped illegally this would have never come out. Second it is a shame to see fighters starving themselves to gain an advantage, cant quite blame them but it is a shame. Oscar would have never been a HOF mention right now if he had started at 147, pure shame.

Roy doesnt usually do that unless a fighter is already hurt, but he felt that Tito couldnt hurt him if his hands were wrapped properly, that Jones kid is a smart cookie.
Also, the reason why Jones came foward was because he was fighting a welter-weight that has always fought 3 whole weight divisions below him. Tito barely belonged at 160, why the hell should he be fighting a guy that competed at HW?

It looked like another cast to me, tito has simply been fighting bigger guys who can take his punch...... He also didnt hit hopkins, winky or jones that much.
