    I'll give Don King credit where credit is due...

    He knows how to put on a good undercard.

    Promoters Don King and Pepe Gomez ink the deal that will bring the WBC heavyweight title clash between Oleg Maskaev and Sam Peter to Cancun on March 8th. It will be the first heavyweight title fight ever in Mexico. The undercard is shaping up nicely with a WBA/WBO/IBF lightweight title clash between champion Juan Diaz and Nate Campbell, and an equally interesting WBC super lightweight eliminator between former two-time lightweight champion Jose Luis Castillo and unbeaten Timothy Bradley. Other bouts include a heavyweight duel between ex-champ John Ruiz and Jameel McCline, and NABF flyweight king Gilberto Keb against Wilberth Uicab. Super lightweight Antonio Fitch, former world featherweight champion "Guty" Espadas Jr. and featherweight Moises Perez will face TBA. It looks like HBO will televise.

      DK deserves credit for a lot of things, and this is one.

      That's the kind of undercard that gets you excited about every fight.

                                      Just like last saturday's Trinidad vs. Jones undercard, this one's pretty good. and we'll be able to see the preliminary fights on yahoo.com


                                      I went to see Chad Dawson vs. Mendoza live at Arco Arena and the whole card that Don King put together was good.
