This is great news as Toney's one of my all-time favourite fighters! He's reportedly in great shape and his skill level's so much better than the other contenders. If anyone can make a successful comeback it's Lights Out! A rematch with Jirov would be excellent at 210-220 pounds or a fight with Quitali.

Why would you want James Toney to fight Vitali Klitschko? Do you really want to see one of your all time favourite fighters get killed in the ring? This is great news as Toney's one of my all-time favourite fighters! Vitali Klitschko would get arrested for murder if he fought James ToneyLast edited by WLAD OWNS; 01-22-2008, 10:08 PM.Comment

I feel bad for James. I think hes going to end up getting hurt if he fights on. He struggled against some guy named Steve Beltcher or some ****. What was it? Anyone know? I didn't see the fight but I heard he struggled, and Beltcher he is a bum.Comment

How's that being racist??? I didn't call him the "Russian Frankenstein" or anything like that! I'm refering to most voted name which was Quitali as voted by Boxingscene.com members on another thread!!! This is reference to him quiting against Byrd with a broken wrist! This is by no means being racist so get your act together Blues Brothers!
Note: Quitali, oops I mean Vitali vowed never to Quitali again after Byrd fight. He did show heart against Lewis with badly busted eye and for that I give him props.Comment

You can never write off Toney WLAD! Everybody's been writing James off his whole career and he always proves the critics wrong! These two should have fought late 2004 or 2005 when James was rated number 1 for WBC Heavy Title and was meant to face Wlad but it fell through. Was Wlad Heavy Champ in 2004???? Toney's reportedly in great shape and also has Freddy Roach in his corner. Don't forget Toney's not that old for a Heavyweight and with the current talent on offer in Heavy division James would have a good chance of winning a Heavy Title! Toney's been calling Wlad out for so long and if Wlad sees it as an easy pay-day he shouldn't have a problem beating Toney and give him a shot at his Title!Comment

James "Lights Out" Toney (in his prime) was one of the best boxers of modern time...No Question! But he is FINISHED now & should hang them up to prevent long term injuries, but his pride & ego won't let him walk away!
DON'T DO IT JAMES, HANG EM UP WHILE YOU GOT SOME SENSE LEFT!!!Comment

Toney was already offered a shot at Wlad and he turned it down...he always talks **** about the Klitschkos but he dosen't have the balls to get in the ring with them because he is scared and he knows he would get KO'd by Wlad and Vitali. You can never write off Toney WLAD! Toney has recently called out Andrew Golota, I would really like to see this fight happen. I don't think Toney would even get past Golota, he looked very unimpressive in his last fight struggling with that tomato can Batchelder. I would pick Golota over Toney by UD.Comment

Being a huge Toney fan I cannot make any excuses for his previous fight against Batchelder where his performance was lackluster grinding out a SD over tomato can Batchelder. Toney fought to Batchelder's level that fight. There were also reports that the crowd was even booing Toney??? Or it could have been for Batchelder. I don't believe Toney turned down Wlad as he's been calling him out for some time, could have been over money or Wlad maybe didn't wanna fight him given Toney's credentials. Also Toney's motto is: "Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere!" Toney's never ducked anyone and would need to come in around 220 and he'll be a match for any Heavyweight out there.Toney was already offered a shot at Wlad and he turned it down...he always talks **** about the Klitschkos but he dosen't have the balls to get in the ring with them because he is scared and he knows he would get KO'd by Wlad and Vitali.

I was joking...How's that being racist??? I didn't call him the "Russian Frankenstein" or anything like that! But,you must understand...just about anyone who says a negative word about a Klitschko,or does not hug kiss Klitschko's nuts is called a racist by a couple on this forum.
I won't mention any names,but...one rhymes with Wlad Blows.
