    Oscar And Floyd: Boxing's Businessmen?!

So Floyd will come right out of retirement to fight De La Hoya, but he won't fight Cotto, Williams, Margarito, Mosley, ect? What kind of **** is that??

Nobody asked for Mayweather/De La Hoya II. NOBODY. In fact most people specifically asked not to have it. Specifically.

Floyd Mayweather could give a **** what the fans and Boxing community want. His "retirement" (again) was another example of that, but coming back to fulfill the selfish desires of Gay La Hoya is purely out-****ing-rageous. :*******:

Wasn't the first DLH fight competitive? I thought so. So why not have a rematch? I mean I think he should have faught Cotto first but a DLH/Money II fight is not a horrible fight. IMO.

The thing is... most Floyd fans thought it wasn't close, so I don't see how they can change their tune now and say a rematch is okay.

I didn't think it was close, and I sure as **** don't see the need for a rematch.

The other side of the coin does seem to be hypocritical when they say things like "OSCAR WAS ROBBED " but then talk **** on a rematch.

However... I will say that even if it was close, a Cotto, or Williams, or Berto, or Clottey, or Collazo, or Mosley, or Margarito match all make more sense than Oscar II.

I wish Oscar and Floyd would just go into real estate or something. They are determined to suck untill the boxing teat is withered up and there no milk left for anyone else damn bastards!

I'm a massive boxing fan too. I just don't think Oscar vs. Floyd II is that bad. It would be one thing if he got gattied. But Oscar made it competitive, enough to sway one judge to score it for him I believe. But I will say this, I'm with you 100% about Floyd should have faught Cotto first. I think the reason people are getting pissed is because it looks as though Floyd is only concerned with $$$ now. I bet people(including you) wouldn't have been as pissed if Floyd faught Cotto, and then Oscar if he won. So I can see why theres dislike for the rematch to an extent. It appears that only motive for both fighters is to make more money. Fans don't like that.

              Good post, I agree. ^

The main thing is that Floyd claimed he would stay away from the sport. Suddenly, he's back at the drop of a hat, for Oscar! That's some foul ****.

He avoided all the Cotto questions by claiming he needed a break. Apparently, that was all a pile of bull****. Effectively, he was lying.

As long as cotto / floyd happens, then oscar floyd II can happen. IT'll give boxing a spotlight for a few months again which is always good. Im not against it, although I'd rather see cotto vs floyd. But it looks like cotto gomez is finalized so its not really something anyone can talk **** on.

                  ???

You do realize the sequence of events that have occured in space and time, yeah? You make it sound like Cotto/Gomez was made before Mayweather pretended to retire again. (?)

This is still about men and fighting. I wonder if Mayweather even has pride!
