Roy Should Only Fight Once More...

"All my fans everywhere thought I was done," Jones (52-4) said. "It was a great night and a great fight."

If only he would leave it at that. But they never do. Like so many greats before him, for Roy Jones, one more great night may turn out to be one too many.-Wallace Matthews

This guy is right. I don't blame Roy for wanting one more big fight(a real big fight). But after his next fight, win, lose or draw...he should retire before he gets hurt. It wouldn't even be a bad idea to retire now. He cameback from the knockouts and won three straight. It would be a happy ending to his career if he retired now. I just don't want him to end up like Ali who sadly didn't know when to hang the gloves up. I don't think hes at that point yet, but if he keeps fighting alot longer he could get there.

Jones needs to fight Calzaghe. No way can these 2 guys be from the same era without facing each other. In the future people are gonna look back and scratch their head as to why these 2 never got it on.

yea its a must.. I dont think its a dangerous fight For Roy.. Joe isnt a homerun puncher.. and this is a fight that Roy has an opportunity to bring his legacy to a whole different level.. It would be great for Joe to give Roy this opportunity..

Jones will face Calzaghe in a MEGA-fight to end both of their careers. It would be a wonderful ending for them both (well mostly the winner)

How much did both the fighters, Roy and Tito, make for this bout?

The bad thing is, calzaghe is still much more in his prime, jones is completely out of his. If calzaghe wins it'll maximize his legacy with bhop and rj on his resume towards the end of his career. It'll destroy jones legacy if he loses to calzaghe, because people down the road will forget jones was done. I want to see the fight, and i'd favor calzaghe but i would root for roy 100 percent.

Roy'll spank him, then go off into the sunset
