Roy Jones vs Jermain Taylor at 175 who got it????

I think Roy would be able to walk him down just like he did with Tito because he would be the stronger fighter. Taylor throws his punches wide and telegraphs them. You can see his punches coming a mile away. Roy would keep the guard up and walk him down,throwing straight right hands, left hooks to the body. I think this is a easy fight for Roy

Roy. Even in both wins over Hopkins, Taylor didn't impress me. Pavlik just added the extra ingrediant Hopkins didn't. ....effort.

At 175, I will go with Roy Jones. Roy showed me that he still has some in the tank and would be bigger than Taylor for the fight. I think it is a close fight but I think Roy outboxes him.

Taylor has not proven to even be that strong at 160. He did not hurt Winky and was not able to overwhelm Spinks, a true welterweight. Hopkins was not a devastating puncher at 160 and had Taylor out in the first fight. Pavlik also stopped him. Taylor's power is not that good, his chin is not either, plus his skills need some polish although I admit he has them. Jones wins by decision.

Taylor has power, he jsut fought guys with granite chins like hopkins and winky. Jones has more power, faster hands and better defense, taylor's only advantage is age, which is probabley enough to win. I'd be rooting for roy jones though no doubt.
