beginner: what gloves and wraps to buy

i am 18 years old and have never boxed even for fun. my college has a boxing program where i guess they just have all the facilities and you can go there and practice. they have a trainer guy to help you out too there. i am very interested in getting into it just for fun.

i dont wanna show up and look completely ****** though, they said i need to bring my own gloves and wraps, what should i buy? any other help would be greatly appreciated

    They dont sell handwraps there?

Also bag gloves, i bought some cheap everlast gloves and they ****** a lot, so then i bought Some Reye's laceless bag gloves and those are awesome the craftsmanship is above and beyond.

I recently saw some pro's using them which made me feel even better haha.

make sure the handwraps are long enough 180" work well for me.watch out for those small length everlast handwraps.

yeah they are bag gloves. They got more conventional looking bag gloves (laces) but they are considerably more expensive.
