Now Judah FEARS Margarito!

I'm not surprised at all. Judah already ducked Margarito to fight guys like Cosme Rivera and Baldomir instead of unifying the belts with Tony a little while back. ZAB knows he's in for a beating and is probably only doing it for the money at any rate.

that is quite an impressive list of fighters who are afraid to lose to ANTONIO MARGARITO. they should almost all count as wins for ANTONIO MARGARITO in a way. if nothing else they add to his unique legacy and credibility to his well earned rep as the MOST FEARED MAN IN BOXING.

I dont know about that guys. I havent read yet about his manager issues but he did have some right? You guys cant diss Zab when he's already fought Floyd, Tsyzu, Spinks and Cotto. He fights everyone. On top of that why would he not fight Margarito? I mean, its not like he's guaranteed to get a ton of big fights with the way he has been losing lately.

Now lets say that it is true that he did duck Margarito, I still dont think its that bad. Its not like he won 12 in a row and wont fight Margarito. When the fight was being made, I actually thought it was a dumb move for Zab and maybe his people realized that. I said why would you fight Margarito when you havent built yourself back up yet. He should take like 2 or 3 more easy fights before he fights a big WW again.

Well Zab already had two easy fights, why does he need to fight another low level fighter? A fight with Quintana would of put him back into top contender status, but he's fighting Williams. As overrated Maragrito is, his style is all wrong for Judah, who's not known to be mentally strong. Zab should go after Cintron.

it's good news that judah steps back it would be great if cotto now signs the contract to fight margarito. it would be moooore intresting than gomez fight.

I knew the Zab/Prize Fight relationship was doomed from jump. It forced Brian Young to curb his attitude a bit, as the only way to get along w/ Zab on the business side is to drop to your knees and suck up to him. But even at the press conference announcing the signing last year, Zab dismissed the notion that they solely promoted him, that it was a joint promotion with Super Promotions (or whatever's the name of his shell company).

I thought Prize Fight lucked out by landing the Cotto fight so soon into their agreement w/Zab - meant less leg work on their end, and less risk of losing money on his promotions, as theres only so much they can make on a casino show (even though almost all of them are sold out) and so little that Zab will take for a payday. But all in all, they did right by him, got him 4 fights in 2007 when nobody else wanted to touch him.

They'll move on, as they're now loaded with blue-chip prospects. Meanwhile, Zab will rot in legal purgatory.

I think you are wrong! If im correct judah and his dad agreed to fight margarito. Prize fighting then came out and said they still have judah under contract and the fight can't go on unless prize fighting is involved. Judah and his dad had went out and said judah is a free agent and willing to fight margarito. I'm pretty sure that is the issue here.

Do you know how to read? If he was a free agent the fight could easily be made which he was hoping, since hes not Bob Arum is now going to have to deal with his promoters which make it harder, how does any of that equate Zab being scared? Zab has done more in boxing that Margarito ever will so calm down and learn to comprehend what you read.
