    Roy Fans

I thought Mayweather's fans were bad but HOLY ****. I see what a lot of people meant about having to endure the "roy is back" posts. Where the hell are these guys all comming from?

I came on after the fight and the entire 1st page looked like this...

    Roy Is back!!!

    Roy Will Beat Calzaghe!!!!

    Roy Is Still The Best!!!

    Roy Walks On Water!!!!!!

    Roy vs Kratos who wins??!!!

    Roy has an Iron Jaw!!!

I saw one "props to tito" thread in which Trinidad was swiftly **** on by these insane, delusional, stuck-in-the-90s RJJ fans. At his peak, RJJ was simply without equal, even at 39 his speed is pretty insane, but he's not the same guy who KOd Griffin in 1 round.

Normally I would'nt care about people mindlessly cheering for their guy, but when I see Trinidad getting ripped and Roy getting praised, at the same time, by the same people, I can't ignore it.

Roy beating Trinidad was not an amazing accomplishment. He would'nt beat Calzaghe. He would'nt beat Dawson. In fact, I struggle to think of a legit opponent he would beat at this point.

You wanna root for Jones, fine, but don't talk about how Roy is back and Tito is finished because it's actually quite the opposite. Trinidad has a lot more left in the tank than Jones does. If he can get back down to 160 he's gonna be a serious problem for everyone in that division. Roy is'nt a serious problem for anyone anymore.

I'm not insulting Roy, just some of his crazy, sack gargling fans.

Wake up and smell the Java. He's a 39 year old multiple KO victim.

He is'nt back. He is'nt going to be the champion again. He needs to retire before he gets hurt again.

    I musta forgot!!

Trini got plenty of praise for a good showing. Praise that he deserves because he looked sharp and accurate. Hope to see him face Oscar.

Great post. But dont worry, when Roy fights someone good in his own weight class, these fairweather fans will go away.

Stop whining and let them have their time to celebrate.

Hes also a multiple division champion and one of the most physically gifted fighters of all time. Some Roy fans over do it, but were just excited. Roy got starched twice a couple years back, and now were happy hes been able to win 3 straight fights. No hes never going to be the best in the world again but I think he has a chance to write a happy ending to his career.(depending on who he fights next and how he fights).
