    cotto versus williams

I think this would be very interesting because cotto is a body puncher and williams is rearly tall also i feel williams chin is a suspect i think cotto has the power to take williams out if he can get inside or slow down his work rate by body shots.
What everyone else think about this fight?

Cotto has a weak chin. He wouldn't be able to outbox williams. Williams will just potshot him to pieces.

    Williams UD.

Tough one to call because the styles are perfect foils for one another. But with Paul's extreme height and reach advantage I don't even know how Cotto could get inside to do what he does best.

I'd edge Williams to win a decision.

Well i feel this fight would be more interesting then floyd - cotto because its two interesting styles.
Cotto could wear down williams once he gets inside to slow down his work rate so he can get inside easier so i think it would be a late tko for cotto proberly the 10th round.
I feel williams cant take a big shot to be honest but at the same time neither can cotto but williams isnt a hard puncher either he just punches alot.

I don't think Williams really uses his height and reach that much when he fights. Paul has a record full of knockouts over tomato cans (except Sharmba Mitchell who was on the serious decline) but I don't think he has enough power to keep Cotto off of him. Margarito had Paul hurt late in their fight, but since Tony isn't as quick or accurate as Cotto, he couldn't finish him off. I see Cotto backing Paul into a corner many times during the fight and getting to his body and taking his legs away from him later in the fight. Miguel is a much faster starter than Margarito and I don't think he gives away the early rounds like that. Another thing is I don't think Paul will be quite so active when he has Cotto's offence coming back at him. Anyway, Cotto by late TKO (possibly body shot) or UD.

                Williams UD.
Judah and Mosley punch a lot harder than Paul, Williams could give him problems using his reach boxing thou.

Suprised by how much Cotto outclasses Williams.

Williams average opponent 14 wins 9 losses
Cotto avg opponent 24 wins 5 losses

I now think Cotto wins easily probably by KO.
