    Why are heavyweights different?

It seems very strange to me that a Floyd Mayweather or Miguel Cotto would be ****ing unconscious if they fought Kelly Pavlik...

Yet Mike Mollo is able to take some of Andrew Golota's punches.

Basically they are a 15 pound differential.

How about Evander Holyfield straight up slugging it out with Rid**** Bowe in their first fight?

    Rid**** - 235
    Evander - 205

A 30 pound differential, and Holyfield took a TON of shots.

Could Pacquiao stand up to taking that many of Jermain Taylor's punches? Hell no.

Obviously there is more weight to take the punch the more you move up...

Basically, my question is, where does the line get drawn? Could a LHW take a heavyweight's punches? Jones was able to take Ruiz's punches, so that is yes.

Could Calzaghe take Ibragimov's punches? I don't know...

Anyone want to shed any light on this for me?

That's sounds about right. maybe he had to be possesed to take the amount of punishment and still continue to fight on to this day.
