Big IFs, But what if Roy Did This, Legacy then?

Okay. Well if Calzaghe was to beat Hopkins Conclusively which i think will happen.

Then say Roy goes to Britain or the USA and beats Calzaghe, what would that do for Roys legacy?

Where would his legacy be at after such a win?

(There big if's and i doubt he will beat Calzaghe, but i dare to dream).

If he did that, then he should retire for good. And it would prove his P4P status as 1 of the best in history.

I can't even imagine that happening to be honest.

I just tried, and I just can't imagine Jones beating Calzaghe at this point in his career.

He really didn't show much of his old self tonight, except for the **** he used to do to humiliate his opponents... dancing, waving people in when he was cornered, shuffling, the arm windmill, etc.

He didn't look very fast though.

If he beat Calzaghe then... I don't even ****ing know. I can't imagine it though.

Neither. But its a good questions. Is he up there with the greatest?

          I think he could be.

Yes. I don't think he will though unless Calzaghe breaks his hand again.

Roy's legacy is cemented no matter what happens, but if he were to go to Joe C's back yard and beat one of the p4p best, handing Joe his first loss...that would be massive for Roy. It would be a huge upset, and it would be the ultimate high note for Roy to retire on. I cant see how he can win, but he has my respect for even wanting to cross the pond to fight Joe at this point in his career. Roy doesnt have anything to prove to anyone.
