Oscar has said for several years he's only here to make big fights. Now the dude needs a tune-up? What a pointless fight he's making, regardless of who the opponent is. If he's not fighting Cotto, I'm not interested. But oh wait, didn't his wife tell him he couldn't fight any Puerto Ricans? Who does this broad think she is, Jin Mosley?

Then we got Cotto, who thinks he's a big enough superstar that he can get Floyd to fight him. Give me a break, pal. Why not fight each other and spare us this April-May bull**** about fighting nobodies? Winner gets Floyd.

I don't get why fighters nowadays have to reach "superstar" status in order to get fights.

Everyone els can have ridiculous mismatches like Delahoya/Forbes, Cotto/Gomez, Margarito/Johnson. The only fighter who has to fight all the top champions every fight & once a month according to the haters is Floyd.

as a boxing fan, i want floyld to fight a cotto or williams. if he beats them, who i consider the msot dangerous welter weights and most likely to beat flyold. i did support hatton, even when i saw he was getting beat, yet i knew that hatton was never a true welter.

the claim that cotto is too green is wrong. hatton was not that famous in america and made big bucks. a fight with cotto could do the same quite easily. yes i do agree he can fight who he wants, but claimining he is the best and then retiring before fighting the true welter weight champs and challenges is wrong imo.

So I see you think that Floyd is a REAL WW. When did you hear or see Cotto call out Floyd? Floyd already beat the real WW champion when he beat Baldomir. He also beat Oscar & Judah 2 other men who both held the real WW title.

You actually think that a real champ can be anyone. You show you dont have any respect for the boxers who fight their way to championships. Now I see why you are discrediting a great fighter like Floyd Mayweather.
