    Here's the deal, Roy fans:

After tonight's win, he wont be back.

He fought a fighter who has had 2 fights in close to 5 years.

An inactive, money hungry fighter who was once good and can still beat some limited guys that stand in front of him. But not a good fighter by any means.

So let me just save you guys all the heartache.

Roy is past it. Washed up. Past his prime. Whatever you want to call him.

Stick a fork in him. He's done.

Good thread. I don't care how badly he beats a long-retired former Welterweight, he is not back as of tonight.

I don't care about the fight in particular just Roy's performance. I mean if he looks fast and strong in there he might not be back..............but he may still make some noise.

Not a real big Roy fan but he still has what it takes to beat Joe Calzaghe.

I can't see that *****-fighting-his-way-out-of-spider-webs giving Roy problems. Roy had problems against punchers, Joe at light-heavy can't crack an egg. We're dealing with a all-time great in Roy and a semi-great in Joe Calzaghe. Roy is not over the hill that he can't compete anymore, he has a chance.

            The guy is deluded.
And so are you if you think he has any chance against a half decent prime contender.

Why do you think he fought Prince Ali Baba and Hanshaw????

Wake up and smell the coffee dude.

                He's not even a top 10 LHW.

He would even lose to Zsolt Erdei.

The thought alone of all the talk that Roy's diehards will spew forth after tonight's victory about him being "back" is enough to make me want to frenchkiss a lightsocket.
