I'd agree that after a layoff and an illness Ruslan needed the fight. He didn't look anything like the fighter that beat Valuev last year.

I don't think chageav is as good as i thought i watched his fight against valuev and thought he could give wlad real problems but i have been watching some of his other fights and the more i see of him the less impressed i am and this fight didn't help. Wlad Owns said that chageav would destroy skelton well perhaps this proves that these guys are not as good as he would like to believe.

I never said Chagaev would destroy Skelton, I said Chagaev would win by wide UD or late TKO. This was the first time I have ever seen Skelton fight and I was disgusted, he is far worse than Ruiz when it comes to wrestling,holding and clinching, he should be banned from boxing.

When they fought at a distance Chagaev dominated and hurt Skelton...if Skelton actually tried fighting and boxing with Chagaev he would've been KO'd/TKO'd, but instead he hugged Chagaev and tried to kiss him.

Skelton's ugly gay style made Chagaev look bad, he was also coming off a long layoff, that didn't help either. Chagaev did what he had to do and he won a wide UD over huggy bear just like I predicted. Skelton should go in the WWE, what a disgrace to boxing.

I heard from some of the Limeys that he had a John Ruiz type style, so I predicted it might be an ugly fight with Chagaev winning a wide UD or late TKO. I wasn't aware that Skelton's style was 10 times worse than Ruiz's.

Why are people surprised? I have always said Chagaev is overrated, he struggled against Ruiz and Valuev, yes he won but did'nt win as clearly as i thought he would, he doesnt dominate opponents like wlad or some heavyweights. Wlad doesnt have threats at the moment in the HW division
