LMAO one of the funnier lines i've read. Remember calzaghe vs kessler the showdown of europe's two undefeated champions and the biggest fight in the division ever! the unification fight for all the titles....remember how nobody tuned in even when it was free on HBO. I think that was the worst BAD event in history for hbo. Please dont say **** that is not true calzaghe is no where near a money train.

A couple of those right hands Ruiz landed, were nasty. I don't agree with the idea of Ruiz being a puncher.........he's not. But he did put Holyfield on the canvas with 1 punch and he at times gets lucky and lands lol. I mean he landed some good stuff on Rahman in the late rounds of their fight also.

Roy took those shots well. And you can clearly see the weight was an issue........he didn't have the same equilibrium/balance/strength etc he had before the weight drain, and was knocked out by lesser punches.

The ruiz right hands were as hard as the respective ones Tarver and Johnson landed that knocked Roy out cold. He did outweigh them by 30-40 lbs.

dude,,,,ruiz was too damn slow for jones. roy saw everything coming and ruiz isnt a puncher. roy was dropped hard by light hitting del valle,,,,,and when your out cold from guys like tarver and johnson that doesnt bode well for your chin. weight didnt have anything to do with his chin

He should have undoubtedly stayed at heavy for another fight or two and then retired but no, he foolishly destroyed his body and immediately had the match with Tarver. A sharp and dramatic decline like that can only be the culmination of advanced boxing age and physical deterioration which Roy exacerbated by jumping back down to light heavy so soon.

If people can't see this, then they're blind, what can I say.
sum people don't know boxing good enough to understand this

Weight made a difference, Jones is not the only fighter in history that had his chin weakened from making a certain weight. Say what you want, the facts are Ruiz is a genuine heavyweight and hit Jones flush a few times in the fight and Jones didn't seen too affected by them. Whoever can hurt and knock down Holyfield can punch.

The Del Valle knockdown was a genuine knockdown but Jones seemed to slip on a damp spot on the canvas at the same time.

Roy doesnt need a chin on this fight... He will KO Tito on the before 8.

Definitely not a prime Juiced Holyfield anyway....
But then again Ruiz didn't fight that version did he.
                    Holy was 38-39 yrs old.

Ruiz isn't known as a big puncher, but he's not feather fisted. The only "feather fisted" heavyweights I've can recall in recent memory are Chris Byrd, Taurus Sykes, and Mo Harris. Knock on Sergei Liakahovic's chin in that he was knocked out with the lesser scale haymakers Harris landed in the 9th round.

Ruiz hits harder than Sykes, Harris, and Byrd..........easily.
