Can someone break down what each brand of glove is like?

    Everlast - No idea.

Winning - I know these are super protective... not much power.

Reyes - The puncher's glove. More power, less protection.

Grant - I've heard they are a bit more protective than most, but I'm not sure.

Are there any others that I missed? If so, please give me their names (so I can smack myself on the head) and tell me about them. I'd like to know what to expect from now on when I see what gloves fighters are wearing.

    Thanks!

I really think the difference in power with each glove is overrated, however they are constructed differently for instance Winning have most amount of padding around the knuckle and of course would favour fighters with bad hands, ive sparred with most types and found that 10oz Winning are conparable to some 14oz gloves in terms of padding, having said that David Haye suffered a nasty cut against Fraggomeni? who was wearing Winning. The most comfortable glove for me is Grant, they are very snug and have alot of padding on the 'top' of the glove and on the thumb area making it good for defence, still very sleek with not a great deal of padding around knuckle. Imo Everlast are the least well constructed out of the main brands and tend to have a very hard punching area, only used 14oz reyes, they are very bulky but are very well made, padding distributed evenly and are the most durable by far

        very good breakdown

also wanted to add that a puncher like manny pacquiao needs/prefers/excels/does more damage with his reyes versus wearing winnings. case and point: Eric Moraes fight 1 and Eric Morales fight 1 and 2.

usually highly skilled fighters who also have talents such as speed and defense and who have brittle hands tend to prefer the winnings gloves such as floyd mayweather jr and roy jones jr

I agree to a certain extent though i think team Pacquiao made to much fuss over the glove issue, Barrera had to wear Winning v Morales in fight 3 when he didnt really want to and won

I did forget about the size of Grant's gloves.

My boy Winky needs them for defense!

These demonstrate the size difference between Winning (Mayweather) and Everlast (Judah):

EDIT: You have to be ****ing kidding me... the filter blocks picture url paths because of banned words huh? Sweet.

The size difference in those gloves looks unbelievable (Mayweather v Judah)!
