By Rick Reeno - Saturday night, former three-division champion Felix "Tito" Trinidad (42-2, 35 KOs) will come out of retirement after a near thirty-two month layoff to challenge former four-division champion Roy Jones Jr. (51-4, 38 KOs) at New York's Madison Square Garden. The fight takes place at a catch-weight of 170-pounds.
"I always want to fight great fighters and I have always wanted to fight Roy Jones Jr., one of the greatest fighters of the era," Trinidad said. "I have too much boxing left inside of me and I want to show that I am still one of the best fighters in the world. I feel good at this weight and it will be a great fight."
The catch-weight has stirred some interest in the fight. Trinidad has never fought above 160-pounds and has not fought below 175-pounds since 1996. At the official weigh-in, Jones came in at an unbelievable 169.5-pounds and Trinidad tipped the scales at 170. [details]
