Way to wreck a completely civilized thread.. If you did see that fight, which i know i did b/c i have it on dvd. You'd know that although Margs made a solid effort at the end it wasn't nearly enough to make the fight very close. I wouldn't say he took him out, but i sure wouldn't say it was very close.

I did see the fight and to me Tony needed the 12th to get a draw the fight was that close, I think Tony was expecting williams to fade he gave away too many early rounds, but let me say this, Williams threw over a thousand shots but was limited to landing 200 or so shots, if Margarito were a bum he would not have had a good enough defense to keep williams connect % that low, much less the fight that close.

I don't think Tony's a bum at all, its hard to stand out in such a stacked divison. I think Williams dictated the pace with effective aggression all but about 2 rounds.. If only he could have found his rhythm and started up just a little faster
