I also heard his fight with Steve Forbes was absolutely absurdly judged.

I did watch him ****ing kill Warrick with his KO of the year, but I also know that he was underperforming like a beast in that fight.

Am I wrong? Is he not very good, or have I seriously just happened to catch him at the worst possible moments in his career?
I agree that the Forbes fight was a bad decision, not just that Stevie lost, but that scores were as wide as they were (I had Stevie winning 115-113, for the record).

But aside from that, DHop gets a bad rap mainly because of his name, and that since he's not his uncle, he catches more **** than most contenders. Not unlike JCC Jr. The difference, though, is that DHop isn't unfairly taking away airtime from more deserving fighters. If anything, GBP has half-stepped in getting him coverage.

Witter is clearly (based on past results) the top challenger to the linear junior welterweight crown, but I don't sleep on D's chances, not at all.

And to those who believe the fight will suck - everyone said the same about Witter-Harris going in, and it turned out to be one of the year's better fights, certainly among the most underrated of 2007.
