How is Froch a bum? Come on, at least have an argument to back up this statement because at the moment its hard to take you seriously. When I look at Froch I don't see a bum, an overhyped fighter maybe. Froch is unbeaten against ok opposistion, can hit very hard and can take a good shot, hardly the qualities of a bum.

I hate all this Calzaghe/Hatton fanboys they're all the same, They all got ****** in by Frank warren hype machine back in the late 90's to the early 2000...There are other fighters in the UK you know...Froch is a very good fighter who would be a tough opponent for anyone and i hope he gets to show it very soon...Its almost a sin to call out Calzaghe and Hatton to some people.Comment

He pissed me off when he used to talk **** about Calzaghe, but at the end of the day you can't blame the guy for being arrogant and ****y and wanting to call out the best fighter in his division.
Honestly the only fighter in the division I see giving Froch any trouble is Kessler. Although Joe outboxed him, that guy just looked so powerful and strong, Frochs lack of defence would put him at a big disadvantage. He can get away with the hands low and wide against lower level fighters but Mikkel Kessler really is a top fighter and would make him pay.
Another thing to think about, if Miranda beats Pascal, he can't be too far off a title shot. I think that would be an interesting fight, Froch vs. Miranda. Maybe even a 50-50 pickem.Comment

I don't think Froch would have too many problems with him.Comment

He's got the longest jab in boxing, the lowest-slung left in boxing, and can hit as hard as some heavyweights. He's 165 all-year round (despite looking 185). He lures opponents in, because essentially he's a counter puncher. And his defense is Very under-rated, he's long-bodied and leans and rolls and you rarely see him hit flush with a right hand - when you do it stands out more because it's a rariety, and usually due to a mistake due to Froch being in cruise mode. When not in cruise mode, you make less mistakes.
I just don't see him being beaten. I never have, for five years. When he puts his foot down a little and comes forward (he very rarely has), his combinations are so smooth and flowing and let off with such ease, and the fight is over.
He also has alsorts of shots, uppercuts from out of range and so on.Comment
