Why is everyone so confident in Marg? The fight versus P.W. didnt impress me at all and it was in his own backyard...

put cotto in there will pw and see what he does. PW is the toughest match up for any ww even more then floyd. PW reach is the reach of a heavy weight for crying out loud. all that being said margarito could have easily won that fight. A cotto fight would give margarito his due respect no doubt!

The most anticipated fight this year. Now the dlh vs mayweather looks pretty much set. It seems like a cotto vs margarito fight will be the fight people will be most excited about. two come forward power punching fighters. Only thing one has a chin 100 times better then the other lol.

This isn't basketball when you have 20,000 people waving balloons, yelling their lungs out behind the backboard while you shoot freethrows with 1 second left. Boxing is a sport where home field doesnt pay any dividends. The introductions are nice and get you pumped but once the bell rings your alone in that ring.

IDK about Marg easily winning that fight, he took punch after punch to the head with quick jabs. Tough matchup for mayweather?...i think the one thing we've learned about money may is that he's able to adapt to any style of fighter, so calling it a tough matchup would be a little overrating.

You might just be very surprised how much wicked punishment Cotto takes from such an "average fighter". Especially from those right uppercuts Cotto eats up like candy. This will be a brutal fight that takes a lot out of both of them.

Yeah I'm a Cotto fan but if a fighter is great like Floy Mayweather, hey as much as you don't like his act, the guy is a great fighter inside the ring. Paul Williams, the kid is good....I have no problem recognizing other fghters talents even if they face Cotto.

you do know your first three bashings on margarito are three bashing that very well fit cotto as well. "marg doesnt have huge power" one more bash against cotto that marg doesnt have is that glass jaw

margarito is a very good ofensive fighter. But he only is a one style fighter. He is very easy to predict. By the way his defensive skills are very poor. He comes at you really open its like a batter trying to bat a ball of basquetball very easy right. Cotto can box, has better defensive skills, better footwork and equals in power but he puts better punches. And in genaral is a more inteligent and complete boxer.
