Jones v Tito comparable to Vargas v Mayorga?

This fight is pretty meaningless. It would have been great obviously if it happened years ago. Now it's come down to something of a bad movie sequel that Hollywood would throw out just to get whatever is left of the fans of the original. When Vargas and Mayorga fought, it was at a catch weight which to me feels like an exhibition fight that means absolutely nothing regardless who wins because it wasn't an official weight class. This fight has similar tones and I could really careless who wins. If Tito were to win, that doesn't mean I want to see him fight on against lets say Calzaghe or Hopkins again. Both are out of their primes and can't work as effectively as they did in their primes unlike Hopkins.

Vargas-Mayorga carried less significance than Tito-Jones, while always appearing to be a competitive matchup.
I am a huge Trinidad fan, but have always thought Trinidad was mismatched against Jones. He would have been so in '01, & still is today.
