I just read the article below on the skysports website and couldnt help but laugh ay what Golota Said towards the end!!!
Andrew Golota claims his heavyweight tussle with Mike Mollo in New York on Saturday will not go the distance.
The veteran heavyweight, who has recently turned 40, is facing Mollo on the undercard of the Roy Jones-Felix Trinidad fight at Madison Square Garden on Saturday.
27-year-old Mollo called out Golota in his bid to rise up the heavyweight ranks, but the experienced campaigner believes he can spring a shock on his younger opponent.
The Polish-born fighter has been in four world heavyweight title fights, and has faced the likes of Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, along with his two infamous bouts with Rid**** Bowe.
Despite his advancing years, Golota says that he can see weaknesses in Mollo's armoury, and is predicting the fight will not last the distance.
"Everybody is talking about Mollo's speed and his offensive abilities," said Golota.
"Why isn't anybody talking about his defence? I guess we'll know more after the first round.
"It shouldn't go the distance. I can't see it going the distance.
"He says he wants to start fast and be aggressive. I feel the same. It's better for me because now I know what he is going to try to do.
"Mollo's a good fighter and I know he wants to win. How is he going to win? Be there to watch me."
Veteran
Golota insists he can still be a force in the division despite entering the veteran stage, citing another forty-something Bernard Hopkins as an example.
"Bernard Hopkins is my role model," Golota added.
"I'm not too old yet. I stay in shape. I even got a haircut to be more aerodynamic. I feel much lighter."
Mollo respects his opponent, but believes Golota is now too old to put up a real challenge to him.
"Golota's an old fighter. He's been great and I respect him," said Mollo.
"He's fought in some tremendous fights that have slipped away from him for whatever reason.
"I feel like I'm younger and faster and should win the fight. Now I need to get in the ring to prove I'm ready to move to the next level. I fear no one."
