When one man is willing to fight whoever they put in front of them and another picks and choose, ducks and dodges, it is clear that one of them is a cowardly boxer. It does not take balls to step in the ring for thousands or millions of dollars. It does take a coward to turn down a career high payday of nearly 8 figures. Use some plain and basic common sense, will ya?I hate **** like this....
Hows a world class fighter a coward??? Obviously you dont really understand do you. A coward would not box in the first place, a coward sits on the internet calling other people cowards.
Yes this whole ****ery is annoying but it aint down to the fact that these fighters are cowards it's down to the fact that they no longer have the same love for the sport that they once had or they're more in love with the money now...
But just stop that coward **** cos seriously it makes you look ******.Comment

Margarito is coward, agreedWhen one man is willing to fight only his loving promoter picks and choose, ducks and dodges, it is clear that he is a cowardly boxer.
Yep, and Margarito hadn't balls even for this.It does not take balls to step in the ring for thousands or millions of dollars.
He turned it down (vs Willians) until WBO threats to strip him. What a coward he is!It does take a coward to turn down a career high payday of nearly 8 figures.

Emotions...
I'm sure die-hard fight fans would rather see a marquee matchup as opposed to a sideshow circus, but business is business folks. This is the US & money talks..all that other bs plays the bench. Anybody who thinks Floyd is either "ducking" or wouldnt have a damn good chance at outboxing ANY fighter from 147 to 154 is delusional. The brother makes no bones about it..it's no longer pretty boy but money may. Of course this fight is about paper & possibly oscar attempting to vindicate himself which is highly unlikely no matter what trainer is in his corner. So what he said he was taking a break..who the hell wouldnt come back to fight for 20mil against someone you already schooled. Dont be foolish...there's not too many other fighters who wouldnt have made the same move. Everybody & they grandmomz still wants to fight de la hoya (INCLUDING COTTO) not b/c he's anywhere near boxing's upper eschelon but because he's boxing's biggest payday. Williams, cotto & mosely wont get you 'oscar meyers'..so ya'll need to stop da bs..for real. Besides, cotto wouldnt be able to get a dub against floyd anyway. Everybody should know by now that so called pressure style wont work against mayweather and although cotto has improved his skillset..he still doesnt have enough tools in the box to defeat boxing's purest talent. For yrs..managers & promoters have exploited boxers. Many past greats lived their last days broke, so I cant be mad at the actual fighters cashing in on paydays in more recent times. If you find fault with it the bout, dont support...meaning dont kop the ppv, watch the rebroadcast on hbo or talk about it on boxing forums. Dont get it confused though..many of today's more known fighters are in it for the money i.e. jones -vs- trinidad, calzaghe -vs- hopkins..etc..It is what it is..Last edited by Hitman88; 01-17-2008, 12:08 PM.Comment
