Juan Diaz vs. Nate Campbell is in Jeopardy

BoxingScene.com was informed by Willie Savannah, manager of WBO/WBA/IBF lightweight champion Juan Diaz (33-0, 17KOs), that unless the WBO and WBA titles are on the line against IBF mandatory Nate Campbell (31-5, 25KOs), they are not moving forward with the agreed upon HBO date of March 8 in Cancun, Mexico. These sanctioning bodies and Don King are holding Diaz back.

I'm gonna blame Don King solely for being a stingy ****sucker who doesn't give a **** about integrity or the well being of boxing and it's fighters.

this situation is getting more and more ridiculous.

I mean to think Juan could lose out on his WBO + WBA titles because his promoter is unwilling to co-opperate.

Diaz isn't going to fight for King again, Don already ****ed up one fight (Katsidis) .. the LEAST he could do is pay the fees and go on with it.

I blame the sanctioning bodies for being greedy and Don King for being an ass hole.

Diaz should not fight and let his DKP contract expire and then sign with Goosen or GBP.

It's Juan's fault for being such a gullable guy. I mean he's going to law school, you think maybe he would know that working with King is always bad business in the long run.

Great point. Not to mention he had verbally agreed with Golden Boy and then backed out of that for this mess.

DK got him Freitas, Oscar Diaz and then a whole bunch of headaches. GBP would have gotten him Freitas, Casamayor, Katsidis, Guzman, Santa Cruz, and more.
