    Worst 2000s FOTY

There really haven't been any Holyfield-Tysons of the bunch, but I'd still like to know what everyone thinks is the let-down of the cream of the crop.

And I figured out how to vote correctly this time.

I voted Arturo Gatti vs. Micky Ward (the third fight). To be honest, I think people got caught up in the hype of how excellent the first one was, so they saw what they wanted in the third one.

Honorable mention (and I feel ****ty putting these in here, because they were beyond great) are Ward vs. Burton and Vazquez vs. Marquez.

The fact that Vazquez vs. Marquez made an honorable mention shows just how ****ing great this decades fights of the year have been.

No easy choices here. I just thought that Gatti-Ward II winning was going on the momentum of the first fight.

        Gatti-Ward III.

Anyways, I do think it is kind of a negative to that fight that it only became competitive when Gatti broke his right hand in half.
