The punches he let Tito land on him weren't the ones that knocked him out.. and that wasn't the first time Mayorga had done it, He had done the same vs. Vernon Forrest and won.

Well Tito didn't really load up on them, but you can't say that they didn't have any affect. They certainly were part of an accumulation of punches that eventually wore him down.

That didn't work out real swift for Mayorga either, as I remember. But with Campbell the result was instantaneous KTFO. In Ricardo's case, it took several more rounds.

It was a great showing, to this day I dont know why people hate on it. He did go on to score a KD. Tito has said to have one of the top P4P power, his fans will tell you his left hook is one of the hardest punches in boxing. So Mayorga tells him to land 3 CLEAN on his chin. lol I love it.

BTW I was talking about the 2nd Forrest fight.

Mayorga got away with it in Lewis II, Forrest II, and Trinidad. Campbell is no Mayorga.
