It's offical Dawson/Johnson April 12 and Adrian Diaconu vs ?? March 29.

Well the WBC sorted the mess out in the LHW picture. Chad Dawson will fight Glen Johnson on April 12, and Adrian Diaconu will fight either Silvio Branco or Chris Henry on March 29. The WBC has approved of these matchups.

Oh the bout between Adrian Diaconu and whoever he's facing is an interim matchup. He will face the winner of the Dawson/Johnson matchup, and according to WBC rules the winner of the Dawson/Johnson matchup has 120 days to defend the title against the interim winner, or be stripped of the title.

I doubt Dawson is running from Diaconu, Dawson signed to fight him but Diaconu pulled out because of injury. I can understand why Dawson wants to fight Johnson, Johnson is a big name in the division and is the former world champion and at the moment Diaconu has no name.

I was looking forward to the Diaconu/Dawson matchup last year and was dissapointed when the fight was called off. Now though I would like to see Dawson/Johnson more and it's good that it all got figured out.
