haha thats all that really matters. I think roy will lay on the ropes in the first round to see what titos punch is really like. He'll warm up to it and then take over dominantly in the 2nd.

I know roy said that but his gameplan lately is to find out the opponents punch and no matter what he says Im sure he'll see what tito has in the first round, just like he did against tarver, badi and hanshaw. However, I think he will take control much faster and knock tito out in about four rounds, if not sooner. Roy can get it done in the 1st round if he wants. he has the natural born power to do that. His handspeed is still second to none in boxing. If his head is on tight, which is looks to me, this will be a fairly easy fight for him.

same. I don;t think it matters to whether they are old enough. People were looking forward to Hopkins vs Wright and they're old timers well hopkins is.

yeah but that fight was garbage lol

i think if roy and tito fought in there prime it would be.... a demolition on roys part... now that theyve both fallen from grace a bit... it actually makes it more interesting for me to be honest... and the fact that if roy can look great.. and somehow someway get a chance at calzaghe...

                    MW > SMW > LHW > HW > LHW > SMW

im not sayin he could do it.. but the thought of the possibility is undeniably compelling... and one way to restore a somewhat whethered legacy

I agree, ill support roy jones until he dies. I have no doubt that he could win another belt at the lhw and smw division if he really wanted it. He's old yes, he's lost a few steps yes, but he still has more natural talent than anyone but floyd as of right now ( prime rj puts floyd to shame though in the athletic department ) Im a supporter of boxing. I'll buy this fight with no regrets. Im a fan of tito's , im a fan of roy jones. this fight may not be for a belt, but neither was gatti ward.
