Roy Jones Jr: "Joe Calzaghe Will Beat Bernard"

Roy Jones Jr. (51-4, 38 KOs) is continuing his campaign of landing a possible fight with WBA/WBC/WBO super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe. He recently told reporters that Calzaghe will beat light heavyweight champion if the two fighters collide on April 12 in Las Vegas. [details]

i agree with RJJ, if Bernard was a puncher he might have a chance, but Calzaghe took Kessler's best shots....Hopkins would have to produce the king of all headbutts to KO JC

Even at Hopkins age he is a tricky opponent for Joe as well would be Winky Wright. The Hopkins could go many ways and I think a lot depends on how Joe handles the jump up in weight. Will it slow him down too much, will he have the strength and stamina. Also he could get old overnight but that applies to B-Hop as well.

Roy vs Calzaghe should be a damn good bout. If Roy looks fast handed against Tito he could give Calzaghe tons of problems. However it is Tito he would look faster than so it would still be harad to tell how it would fair.

Roy hatin on B-Hop Again, only because Hopkins dominated Tarver. So it makes Roy Look bad. Even After Roy said "Tarver will knock Hopkins out!"

Are you kidding. Calzaghe v. RJJ would sell out Wembley. The level of competition isn't important over there. That fight is happening. Cal-Z calls it a career. Off into the sunset...
