Why do writers have to be so negative. Writers appear to have more fun bashing the sport then saying anything positive. Roy Jones and Felix Trinidad are not the first fighters past their primes to fight. They won't be the last.

If you don't like it how about dropping an article about an up and coming fighter you do like.

Boxing writers today suck... all they do is talk smack and find something wrong with every fighter and every fight put together. These terd tappers have probably never laced up gloves or stepped into a 90 degree boxing gym smelling like sweat/leather so where do they get off telling us whats good. yeah so maybe roy and tito arent what they used to be but hell i would pay 50 bucks and then some to watch these guys fight in the mecca of boxing. Boxing fans know a good fight and even its its not a good fight we will watch it anyway! We dont need to hear these guys put down the greatest athletes in the world!

These fighters have more talent left than most fighters today. They may be past their prime but rekindling the fire is the nature of a fighter. If some fire is still left in their hearts they deserve a stage to show and prove for all the passionate and electrifying displays they have shown us.

This fight is a not great and they both are diminish fighters but, why not give Tito and Roy one last chance to become a named contender in boxing. It makes sense that they would fight each other because they both are basically in the same boat. I agree the fight is just a circus, but boxing itself is one. Especially when u got a DLH vs. PBF 2 which really makes no ****ing sense...........but it sure makes dollars!

i disagree with the article, ROY JONES isn't SUPER SHOT, he beat 2 solid fighters, and Trinidad last fight he lost to winky wright, which of whom he could have never beaten at any point in his career, so who the hell is to say he's shot?

While your article gets views, there's nothing cute about disrespecting two legends that have made boxing exciting. Waht were you smoking when you wrote this article?? What makes you think because Tarver finished Roy...that he's totally finished?? His last fight again Hanshaw was a true testiment to his comeback, and Hanshaw is not a sleeper. Give the brother RJJ some time...he only has 3 legitimate losses against GREAT fighters...GREAT FIGHTERS! At one point many though Mosely was finished, I disagree...Shane may have lost that fight, but he showed up that night. Have some belief that these fighters just may show up fight night.

I care about Golota vs Mollo more than about Jones vs Trinidad but I'll still watch it, I'm not going to pay for it though.
But it's not like we get PPV's here in Finland so I can't pay for it anyway.

Maybe the two have one more great fight left in them, who knows. But there's no way I'd pay 50$ to watch it.

Boxing isnt all about making legacies and pitting the best skill vs skill, sometimes its just about good fights. This will probably be an entertaining fight. If I had PPV I would get it.

I tell you this what Tito and Roy have left in their tanks these days current fighters in their primes wish they have now. Both these guys although apart from their primes are still devastating fighters and would wipe the floor with any contender. TK you don't have to fork out the money to watch **** but you'll be one fan who stands alone because I know plenty of people that are paying to see this fight. My money is on Roy but my heart is with Tito!

Editor's note - I've laced up the Reyes. Stepped through the ropes. Gotten a bloody nose, bruises.

My point is that Jones and Trinidad were great fighters. They are both nice guys. I have no problem there.

My problem is the crazy prices and the fact that one of them could get hurt in this fight that really shouldn't be happening. If either had proved themselves worthy with recent accomplishments and good performances I'd be all for it.

But they are faded beyond all rationalization.

If Mayorga/Vargas can be PPV, then Jones/Trinidad can most certainly be. If you don't want to watch it, don't buy it. Both of them have earned the right to have this fight made.

I hope Tito pulls this one off. I think he has a better chance than most people give him. People forget how special of a fighter he was. But I will admit, most likely senario is Jones winning easily. I have to go with Tito though i can vote against him. I can't wait! Go Tito!

but if its worth 25 i think mollo/golota will be worth 25 too

either way my local buffalo wild wings is showing it for free and i wont have to tolerate a race war a la hatton/mayweather
