I was fairly confident of an upset until yesterday when I watched the Tito/Wright fight...

#1. Tito looked absolutely abysmal against Wright, much worse than most fighters look against Winky. I knew he lost badly, but I never knew how badly. And that was at 160.

#2 Roy Jones Jr was commentating for HBO during that fight, and he seemed to have a very solid grasp of Tito's faults; that he puts all his weight on his front leg (and looses mobility), that he tends to circle the wrong way, that he doesn't know what to do when his opponent can pick off his down-the-center shots.

Jr's chin is still glass, his feet are still slow, he still backs into corners...but I think Jones understands Tito.

Trinidad MUST come in focused, smarter, and in peak condition...which seems unlikely given his time off.

Jones by UD 12 unless Trinidad has solved his technical faults.

Agree. Trinidad given his ample time off really hasnt changed his fight plan over the years. He is still a one dimensional fighter who can seem to adjust to fighters who can actually box from the outside. THE ony way Tito can win this fight if he catches Roy coming in and times him with a left hook.

Nope, its a pick 'em fight IMO, too many intangibles to bet on this one. Threw away6.5 coz I'm a fan boy, but not a ****** fan boy.
