i think you will be in for a surprise if he even attempts to square off against margarito again let alone Mosley or Cotto. Im not a big fan of Margarito but he is one mean mexican mofo and Im pretty sure he is pissed that he chose to start so slow against Williams the first time and in a rematch we will see some serious aggression from Margo. But my real feeling on Williams is that he will dehydrate down to 147 in one of his upcoming bouts and regardless of the opponent we will see him fall apart when his endurance takes a dump on him.

I doubt it. He is only 26 and is in tremendous shape. And in all of his fights I have seen his endurance was never a concern.

Until then tho he should be happy he sc****d by Margarito and shut his mouth until he beats a few more worthy opponents in an impressive manner.

For your info, williams walks around at 155, 156, this is taken from an interview:

J.S: What's your walking around weight?

P.W: Oh, I walk around at about 155, 156, something like that.

J.S: So welterweight is your natural weight class and next year you figure you'll be welterweight champion if you're given the shot?

P.W: Oh, sir, I'm staying at welterweight until my manager, Mr. Peterson tells me to move up, after targeting some of them belts and stuff. After that we may move up, it just depends on how I feel.

Williams is confident of his abilities but I don't think he's as much of a **** as these ****** press releases make him out to be, it's probably all in the promoter who is trying to talk as much as possible to hype him up. As long as he keeps winning pretty soon whoever else has kept winning will be forced to face him. For now I can see him taking on Quintana and then the guy who remains between Clottey and Citnron, and if he's still the champ the guy left from the Margarito, judah, gomez Cotto bunch will have to fight him, unifying some titles and making it clear who's the best welter in the world and who mayweather should fight.

The good thing is that this can all be sorted out by the end of 2008, if all the fighters and promoters back up what they say there is no reason it wont happen.

interesting cause I thought he was like 160 on fight night of one of his fights, but I seen him also on a weigh in and he definitely had that Skeletor look in his face. I'll stick by my guns and say the weight will be his undoing.

Why should he fight Margorito again. Williams needs to make him wait just like Margorito did him. Hell, the WBO had to threaten him by almost stripping his WBO strap. So why should Williams do him a favor? We all know he won the fight so please stop grasping at straws.

When has Williams had problems with stamina. I didnt know that so can you please point that out for me because I disagree with you on that my friend. PW has always come to fight in shape.

Williams proved that in the last round of the Margarito fight. I was expecting him to fold. You had to be impressed with his workrate, his stamina, and his chin.

You can't blame Margarito for any of that, he actually went against his promoter to make the fight. He was not, and is not scared of Williams who UD'd him on the end of a long jab.

And the reason he should fight Margarito is if, and only if, the welterweight picture clears up and he's the other guy left standing. Otherwise it will probably be Cotto, or Cintron (unlikely) who he should face.
