I've said it before, Cotto does not want to fight Williams. Cotto might be able to beat him, but he knows he would have trouble with Williams stylistically.

his mgr was right. When Williams defeats Cotto, he becomes very well known. The margarito fight opened the door for him. Beating Cotto would kick the door in. Trouble is... Cotto wont fight him... 2 words. Alphonso Gomez. Thats ******** pathetic.

Keep in Mind that Money May hasn't been stellar in terms of PPV $$ unless he'd had a well known dance partner. DLH and Hatton were probably more responsible for the PPV sales than Money May was.

If DLH announced he was fighting Sharmba Mitchel, it would do 350,000 buys just because its DLH. Mayweather would have to do that one on regular HBO.

So dont be misinformed about PW. These guys are running from him like he's got the ebola virus. Cintron really looks like a ***** right now. Cotto is not far behind...

dude your a moron, name me one time that williams has called out cotto and cotto has said that he does not want to fight williams,i believe it was williams that chose to fight quintana knowing that cotto could,nt even find an opponent at welterweight so learn what ur talking about and the only reason that cotto may actually be fightning gomez is because all these people talk **** on him{fighters} and never back it up and duck out on him,for instance, floyd, oscar, margarito, hatton,so step up your boxing knowledge lil buddy

At least Cotto is fighting somebody not playing around with making press quotes Paulie.

I think hope he's not just going to be one of these guys who gets one big win and then rides that wave for like 1 and a half years to get a pay-per-view fight because if he actually kept fighting there's the possiblity his stock could go down. If he's so good though it should go up.

He beat a washed up Margarito. If he would've fought the killer that fought Cintron, Williams would have had the same luck that Cintron had

I think Margarito's playing deffense strategy during the first few rounds was the difference. I think if Margarito goes in there to fight from the first round he'll beat Paul. But, for some reason I don't see Margarito trying to get a rematch, he's just going after Cotto, that tells me Williams is that good.
