Its about time Mesi is stepping it up. Also Mesi will test the young prospect. IT should be a decent fight IMO.

I'd sooner see Mesi test some of the other prospects like Chazz Witherspoon, Malik Scott or Kevin Johnson. He would likely beat any of those three, but Arreola is a tough cookie who might actually defeat him.

It is time for Mesi to step up, but watch how quick they stop the fight if Mesi is even buzzed. Nobody wants to be called out for having a tragedy in their state.

We can only hope Arreola will punch Mesi into retirement. The game of charades has gone on long enough.

Maybe Mesi will eliminate a few of the 'undefeated', untested prospects. Scot and Witherspoon would be better choices, sure, but Arrealoa is hardly the second coming of Sonny Liston. Mesi could win.

I hope this fight is made, I would like to see Mesi really get tested in there.

Is it time?...it's way past time for Joe Mesi, and frankly I'm tired of his facade. He's suppose to be 'the seasoned pro'...and he's still talking about stepping up to 'rookies'.

The last time he stepped up to a 'pro' was Jirov...and we saw the outcome.
                  He was life and death...no pun intended,with a light-heavyweight.
