    What If?

I just got done watching the Ruiz/Jones fight from 2003. After watching it I wondered how Jones could've done had he stayed at Heavywieght. Who do you guys think he would've beaten? And who do you think would have handed him his ass?!!!

What's funny is that George Foreman predicted Roy's HW jump perfectly. It was right after the second Montell Griffin fight. He said Roy could move up to HW and only had to be 200 pounds and he would be faster than all of them and have enough pop to compete. Someone like Evander would be to much for Roy. He would take all of Roy's blows and he only has to land some shots to hurt Roy. I wouldn't say Roy has a glass chin because losing to much weight does affect your ability to take a punch (just ask Cotto) but Evander hit's HARD and would weather Roy's storm. Lennox is just to big and long and would control the distance of their bout until he hit Roy with a thunderous right hand and enderd their bout. Sometimes size does matter.

Lewis and the Klitschkos would've KO'd him. I think the 2003 Holyfield was past it enough for Jones to beat him. Why was there never talk of a rematch between Toney and Jones?

Roy should have stayed at heavyweight, fought Holyfield and maybe Byrd, and then retired. He would have been rated incredibly high on many all time lists. His reputation was badly damaged by dropping all that weight and looking like crap against Tarver. Fighting Lewis or Klitschko would be out of the question of course.
