Thats the word i was looking for man. Even at the end, after getting hammered in a few fights, he was not the fighter he once was. But his heart was as big as ever. I enjoyed watching him in victory and defeat.

Yeah no doubt. He was one of those fighters who seemed like he just loved fighting to. I always loved watching him fight because he wouldnt let you hit him without coming right back at you. Ever. He just had too much pride to let that happen.

Did Morales ever have a boring fight?

Saw pretty well all of his big fights, as well as a few of the rare tune-ups & stay busy fights, & can't recall a single boring fight.

He might of lengthened his career by a couple of years if he didn't stand & trade so much, but damn it was fun to watch.

Here's to Erik Morales, one of the few fighters of recent years who managed to take top of the line skills & make genuinely exciting fights with them.
