I can't see Tito making 147 ever again, he is fighting at 170 for the jones matchup, he grew out of his welterweight frame years ago.

Try and tell Trinidad that he can make 147. He'll either laugh at you or look at you like you are crazy. He probably walks around at 200 lbs when he isn't training. He's have to sweat hard to even make 160.

I don't think he can go anywhere under 160. Maybe a catchweight of 157 or something but Cotto wouldn't jump up that far. At this point of their careers, Cotto can have much more meaningful fights at 147.

He was obviously outmatched and outsized against winky at 160 so why does it make more sense for him to fight at a heavier weight??

Trinidad does not walk around at 200 pounds, Trinidad is a stick with slighty thick legs. Trinidad and Cotto could probably fight at a catch weight like 156, but I doubt Cotto wants to move up
