will miranda be a force at super middle?

will miranda become a geniune force at super middleweight? i think when calzaghe retires it will be a pretty exciting division (kessler, taylor, pascal, miranda etc) i could see miranda doing pretty well in there...but so far he seems like he'll have one of those careers where he'll be burnt out way before 30...

He's one of my favorite fighters, but Im also a realist as well. I mean he's always exciting to watch and always got's a punchers chance to win, but he's still raw and has flaws. Against the best in the division I think if they can handle his power they will be able to outbox him. Im thinking he might be able to get one championship belt, but as being a dominating force in the division, I would have to say no.

As long as he steers clear of Kessler, who IMO would beat him convincingly, he should be able to hold his own against everyone in the division.

As long as Kessler or Mundine arent in his near future, he should do pretty good.

yeh i think kessler will be the dominating force in the near future...i dont think the calzaghe fight will have damaged him if anything it will build his confidence that he could hold his own with someone of that level...

i could see miranda beating mundine....but it would be one punch that did it....

I don't think he'll become the man at 168 but he can become a titlist.

Good poll/post. I think it's really a pickem situation, but it is hard to imagine him outboxing or catching Kessler flush very often.

I think he has a shot. Other than Kessler I think he beats them all. Kessler might frustrate Edison and make it a long night.

I can't see him beating Bute, Mundine or Kessler. I think he can beat the other fighters. But there a long way off the top 3.

Your seriously under estimating these fighters. SMW is a very strong division. Kessler is world class. Mundine is close to it, and is really coming of age and peaking late. Bute is super powerful. Lets not overestimate Miranda here.
