      Thats it, thx. I caught one of his fights streamed and left less than impressed to be honest. But as for Solis and Gamboa, God bless that Cuban amateur system.

        Yeah, Barthelemy is also good but not as good as Gamboa or Solis...I believe he fought Gamboa in a juvenile boxing tournament back in the early 90's in Cuba and lost...but he still got a chance of getting somewhere....

              I hear Guillermo Rigondeaux is one of the best amateurs EVER to come out of Cuba,i remember he defected to Germany,and was gna turn pro,but he got caught and sent back,now he cant fight for the amateurs,man,imagine he was in the pro ranks

                have you heard of mario kindelan from cuba?? he defeted felix trinidad (13-3) in 3 rounds and he also defeated mighel cotto (20-2) 5th round. this guy was a beast..

                  Yeh he beat Amir Khan in the olympic finals,but came out of retirement and lost in a rematch to him

                    yeah that was because kindelan came out of retirement and he didnt train that much.. but ive heard rumors that kindelan let him win because kindelan didnt really cared. dont know if its true thoe.

                      Could have been,it was Amirs hype fight for before his pro debut,Mario must have not been on the top of his game,i remember watching it,he didnt look like the same person who beat him in the finals
