    James Toney is back! Interview

Former cruiserweight champion James "Lights Out" Toney is eager to make his return to the ring to prove that he's the only legitimate fighter in the heavyweight division and he thinks that Vassiliy Jirov would be the perfect stepping-stone to embark on what could be his last shot at the heavyweight title.

"He'd be a good stepping stone. He's perfect," stated Toney in a recent boxing talk interview. He continued, "for me, to fight a tune-up fight, I have to be motivated and I would be motivated with Jirov because he's been talking a lot of **** like Jameel McCline, the big six-foot seven ***got. He runs his mouth saying he wants to fight me, but they ain't trying to call me. They know the number, they can call."

"Man, the road to the heavyweight title still goes through me," stated a somewhat delusional Toney. "None of these heavyweights have beaten James Toney or can run through me. The fans know that I'm the only legitimate fighter out there at heavyweight. I beat the **** out of Samuel Peter the first time, I beat him the second time and he was running for the last six rounds. How is a big man going to run from a small man? Come on man! Stop giving these clowns credit. I took it all out of Samuel Peter and it showed when he fought McCline."

The interview. Classic James Toney all the way but there's no way he should be fighting again.

He won ONE round in the second Peter fight. There is no way he should be fighting again, you said it.

If he wants to fight it needs to be at a lower division, he just wants a payday.

He could barely get by a nobody in Danny Batchelder with steroids in his system. He's almost as delusional as Holyfield.

first fight was close, but he lost... second fight was a land slide... and actually had toney rocked at one point, to even which toney agreed he got hit good... which is pure evidence of why hes delusional... toneys the worst slurred speech in the game today.. and its not cuz thats just the way he talks... it partly is... its partly cuz hes damaged goods

Besides PBF, James Toney was my other favorite fighter but then came all the steriods **** and the constant being out shape **** just pissed me off. I don't know what to think of James Toney anymore.
