Cintron: "Get Me Margarito"

Lip service from Cintron three weeks ago, when he emptily called out Margarito for a rematch. now Cintron is calling out Cotto when he knows he's signed for Gomez.

no plans for rescheduling the Williams fight after that mysterious hand injury which suddenly appeared the moment after the KO win over Feliciano. which Cintron said occured in, self servingly, the first round.

if you watched the feliciano fight, cintron tells manny steward his hand is busted between the 1st/2nd rounds and then again between the 2nd/3rd rounds, so the injury isnt that mysterious. Not to mention it's the hand he has had problems wiht his entire career. he's had 3 or 4 surgeries on the hand before.

and here's what he says in the same article about cotto in regards to Paul williams:

"Paul Williams is just a lot of talk and so is his manager and promoter. He's going to get the chance to fight me because I definitely do want to fight him and I do want to add his belt around my waist." so do your research prior to saying he is avoiding williams. ive linked the article so you can look and see.

lol Cintron says that but says he wants to fight Cotto and then Clottey. Williams name if not in there. He doesnt really want the fight he just said that. Of course hes not going to say "im ducking Williams."

cintron told Gabriel Montoya that they want to line up a williams fight for sometime in the summer. with paul fighting quintana, he probably wont fight again until the summer, so there it is.

Cintron actally told me he was scared of Williams and he never wants to fight him, that he would rather retire, so there it is.

If Cintron were to fight Cotto in April and then had to fioght Clottey, Clottey would be in the summer. Clottey would be his mandatory and that would be his excuse to not fight Williams.

Manny steward wants cintron fighting every 2 months - April, June, August, october, etc. so there are two summer slots available. The feliciano fight was supposed to be 2 months after the matthysse fight, but vargas got sick.

Cintron is a good fighter but he seems to be falling into that large category of boxers who talk the talk but don't walk it, along with the leader of that club mayweather

he still wants him, but margarito is tied up with zab judah now, so cintron cant sit around and not fight anyone.
